If there ever is going to be a global government, perhaps it would be best if it had no fixed position. That is, if it was constantly moving on a pilgrimage around the world. That way, its members would actually constantly be experiencing the reality of the world, as well as experiencing the positive effects of slow overland travel, which might lead to them making decisions contrary to the static forces of power accumulation that destructively govern the world at present. The representatives of each country, or whatever unit makes up this government, could serve for as long as it takes to go around the world on this endless carnival as country after country organises festivals to greet the global governance caravan....
