hello

'hello' is a word in the language that refers to itself as english, as are all these words. this website is being written in english because that is the only language the author knows well enough for this purpose. however, this page is being used to recognise and apologise for the rudeness that this linguistic exclusion amounts to for people of all other languages. of course, such people may not even be able to read this apology, if they are even reading this website at all. but still, it seems important to say hello in as many languages as there have been cause to learn and still be able to remember in the life of the author, if that can really be taken as anything like a genuine sentiment and not just an opportunity to show off or imprecisely gesture towards some possible ethical precedent for using this website.
